Dr. Taylor Case
Dr. Taylor Case was born and raised in the great state of Minnesota. He grew up loving sports and the outdoors. Dr. Case attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul Minnesota where he played football his freshman year. It was after he decided he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry that Dr. Case figured it would be best to stop bashing his head into other human beings on the field and risk breaking any fingers. However, he continued to stay very active in intramural sports throughout his undergraduate and graduate school years. Dr. Case received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at UST and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Creighton University in Omaha, Go Jays!
Dr. Case enjoys all facets of the dental field. The technical, the science, the human interaction–all of it. He has always envisioned being the type of dentist who makes an impact on his community. Not only in health, but in spirit. He currently serves in the United States Army and is grateful for the chance to make that impact on the lives of our brave soldiers stationed at Fort Wainwright. And now, he plans on making that same impact on the wonderful community of Fairbanks.
Dr. Case married his high school sweetheart, Mary Kate, in 2018 and they welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Piper, in Fall 2020. Rachel was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska. Prior to her birth, her family first moved to Fort Wainwright in the 90’s due to the military, however, the amazing wilderness of this beautiful state later caused her dad to retire here. Rachel was raised as Alaskan as it gets. Her dad basically raised her at the gun range and took her hunting whenever he got the chance (he had 3 daughters.. poor guy).
Rachel has been in the dental field since she was 18 years old, first starting as a front desk receptionist & working her way to being a dental assistant, which she has continued to do for 6+ years. After her father’s sudden passing, Rachel took a brief hiatus from the dental field when she got pregnant and had the biggest blessing God could have given her, a son named Kwan-MarQuis. Unfortunately, he only graced her life with 15 beautiful days before unexpectedly passing from SIDS.
Rachel joined the FFDC family in December of 2020. She has a genuine passion for making her patients feel as comfortable as possible by treating them as if she would treat a family member. Rachel loves making a difference in anyone’s dental journey and hearing about the impact she has on their dental experience. When she’s not in the dental office, Rachel can be found using her newly acquired green thumb to take care of her 20+ house plants, loving on her two dogs, and taking them camping, and exploring her home state.

She is an avid swimmer and has been on a swim team since she was 11 years old. Priscilla was born in San Diego but was raised mostly in the Southwest of New Mexico. After high school, she received a culinary degree in San Francisco as a sous chef because she had dreams of running her own restaurant. Unfortunately, the small town she lived in did not appreciate her modern fusion techniques on food so she decided to pursue a career with home healthcare. To keep some fun in her life though, Priscilla bartended on weekends to develop her personality and keen sense of sass. To keep life balanced and stable, she took a job during the week in-home healthcare for ten years. After an unfortunate plot twist, Priscilla moved to Arizona, attended Brookline College, and received her Dental Assisting Certification. In Arizona, she took a position working at an oral surgeon office and general dentistry.
Since Priscilla was in Arizona on her own, her neighbor became her support network and went with her as her date to graduation for dental assisting. After two years of dating and returning from his fourth deployment with the Airforce, he proposed to her with a pretty ring. In May of 2021, Priscilla and her ‘lova’ PCS’d to to Fairbanks while she was six months pregnant, which is when she joined the FFDC team.
Priscilla has not had much spare time, with the new baby, to explore Alaska but hopes to go hiking, travel, see the whales, see more northern lights, learn how to snowboard, and see the Yukon Quest or Iditarod. In her free time, she talks to her baby in Spanish and enjoys bath time. As things calm down at home with the newborn, she hopes to pick up cooking again as a destresser. In addition, Priscilla spends time with her lazy labrador retriever who hates grass…really he doesn’t do labrador well at all.
