Dr. Todd Haskin
As long as he can remember, Dr. Todd has had a passion for helping others improve their lives. Growing up in Minnesota, Dr. Todd did many volunteer projects in his youth and even earned his Eagle Scout award by serving in his community.
Dr. Todd chose the field of dentistry to be able to connect with patients one on one and for the ability to form strong, lifelong relationships with them. Dr. Todd received his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from BYU and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Western University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Todd had been visiting his wife’s home state of Alaska for years already, so they immediately jumped on the opportunity to return when offered to be stationed at Fort Wainwright. Dr. Todd and his family love being part of the tight-knit, down-to-earth community of Fairbanks. Dr. Todd is excited to continue to serve his friends and family in Alaska. He particularly loves helping patients who have high anxiety and leaving every person feeling better about themselves.
Dr. Todd’s biggest success in life is his marriage to his beautiful wife, Nikki. Together, their greatest joy is helping their young daughter learn and grow. When not at the practice, you can find Dr. Todd with his family hiking, running, and fishing.
Dr. Jimmy Leale
Dr. Jimmy Leale of Puyallup, WA put Alaska on the top of his list when requesting a new station. He currently serves as a Comprehensive Dentist in the US Army, stationed on Ft. Wainwright. Aside from the breathtaking beauty of the Alaska landscape and abundance of outdoor sports and activities, he has found the tight-knit community and people of Fairbanks to be the most endearing.
Dr. Jimmy graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Biology and continued on to earn his D.D.S. at The Ohio State University in 2013. While in the military, he has completed two post-doctorate residencies to expand his skill set including oral surgery, periodontal surgery, and endodontics. In addition, in 2019 he successfully challenged the American Board of General Dentistry.
With a passion for serving others, he has attended a dental mission in Honduras and served in a mobile dental coach for an underserved population. Dr. Jimmy believes in empowering patients and fostering a caring environment. In addition to experience and attention to detail, his down to earth humor and compassionate chairside manner put his patients at ease.
Dr. Jimmy’s most treasured role is as a husband and father to three rambunctious boys. When not serving patients, you will find him on the floor wrestling with his boys and taking an active parental role. He also dedicates many hours to service in his church. Recreationally he enjoys skiing, hiking, fishing, self-improvement reading, and eating his wife’s delicious food.
Tiffany has extensive experience working in the dental field and enjoys interacting with and helping her patients. She loves hunting, fishing, dirt bike riding, snow machining, and exploring the outdoors of Fairbanks in her Jeep. She also has a passion for art, darts, and shooting and is a distinguished marksman.
Nicole comes from a military family, who moved to Alaska from Texas when she was a child. She has since spent most of her life in the Fairbanks area.
In 2013, she left the life of a coffee barista to work in the dental and medical field. When she is not at work, she is either busy experimenting in her kitchen or conditioning to run another race.
Krista moved to Fairbanks 2 years ago from Florida where she grew up and married her high school sweetheart. The Army gave them the opportunity for a new adventure by stationing them at Fort Wainwright. Krista was trained at the Army’s dental clinic Kamish and did over 600 volunteer hours helping soldiers be ready for deployment.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and Great Dane watching movies, hiking, and exploring the amazing things Alaska has to offer.
Andrea has lived in Alaska for 32 years, she and her children love the beauty and friendly people Alaska has to offer. She has been a dental assistant for the past 15 years and feels blessed she has found a career she loves.
In 2015, Amanda moved to Alaska from Texas where she grew up. She went to dental hygiene school at Coastal Bend College in South Texas. Amanda was a dental assistant in the general and orthodontic fields before returning to college to become a dental hygienist. Amanda has been in the dental field for 18 years and a dental hygienist for the last 12 years. Amanda loves Alaska and spends her time shooting, hunting, and fishing.
Originally born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, Maya moved to Arizona in 2007 to complete her education. Maya graduated from Carrington College in Mesa, Arizona and is a registered dental hygienist in both states of Alaska and Arizona. She moved back to Fairbanks to further her dental career and spend time with her family. Maya strives to ensure our patients always feel well informed and comfortable during their visit. Her passion is to educate and help patients overcome their dental fears and achieve their needs. Maya enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Maya cannot deny her love for the outdoors including camping/hiking, boating in the summer, and snow machining up in the mountains of Summit during the winter as well as having an artistic side painting and drawing.
